About Sean

From 2000 to 2005 I worked as a web designer for Netconcepts, a US/NZ web agency specialising in ecommerce, where I learnt my trade as a web designer and front-end coder.

Around 2003, I created Vendorama, an online store builder. It was like Shopify but Shopify didn't exist yet, and I had at one point around 50 stores selling. The first sale was in November 2006 for catdoor magnets!

In the 2010s I started working on a side-project, a shopping search engine which is now called ‘Vendorama’ and spltting the store builder off into ‘Vendo’.

Vendorama automatically lists products from online stores running on any shopping platform like Shopify, Woocommerce and custom-built stores. Vendorama is way for kiwis to discover, shop and buy from (and support) local and independent retailers around New Zealand.

I do a range of freelance web design with a focus on ecommerce and online stores. Please feel free to get in touch.
